Research with TareOh
TareOh does not sell data. Readings are written and not kept, and people's writing never leaves their phone for research. What exists is opt-in, numbers-only measurement, shown only in aggregate. We share it only under the terms below.
Who can ask
- Accredited universities and research institutions at the level of CUNY or above, with ethics-board (IRB or equivalent) approval.
- Not data brokers, advertisers, or anyone seeking individual records.
What could be shared
- Aggregate statistics: topics people bring, when they ask, how they hedge, how questions differ across eleven languages.
- Safety signals: how often medical, legal, money and crisis guardrails fire, in aggregate.
- Methodology: how TareOh measures whether a reading uses a person's own words, and how often it predicts.
What never will be
- Readings, questions, notes, or anything tied to a person or device.
- Anything below a minimum group size.
- Data used for advertising or targeting.
Any new use of data needs new, explicit consent from the people it comes from.
